About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Marketing Agency to drive end-to-end revenue generation, client acquisition, and business expansion for the agency.
This role focuses on managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and pitching to closure and account growth—while ensuring consistent performance through structured processes, strong execution, and strategic thinking within the digital marketing agency ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive consistent revenue growth through strong client acquisition and conversion-focused sales efforts
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with continuous lead generation
- Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain complete accuracy and hygiene in CRM systems
- Identify and activate new lead sources including events, exhibitions, partnerships, and outbound channels
- Lead client acquisition through high-quality pitches, proposals, and strategic conversations
- Deliver customized digital marketing solutions aligned to client needs and business goals
- Ensure smooth onboarding and handover of clients with a strong focus on experience and satisfaction
- Participate in events and networking opportunities to generate business and build relationships
- Conduct regular sales reviews and track performance to ensure consistency and accountability
- Collaborate with internal teams (performance, creative, strategy) to ensure seamless execution and delivery
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies, sector expansion, and new business initiatives
- Build and manage partnerships and referral channels to strengthen business inflow
- Drive adoption of CRM tools, reporting systems, and sales automation processes
- Manage key accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for long-term growth
- Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and insights to support strategic decision-making
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in sales or business development within a digital marketing agency
- Proven track record of closing deals and driving business growth in a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (performance marketing, social media, branding, SEO, etc.)
- Solid grasp of sales processes, pipeline management, and conversion strategies
- Experience in managing client communication, negotiations, and relationships independently
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- High ownership, accountability, and execution focus
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
