About the Role

We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to join our growing marketing team in Thane. This role focuses on editing short-form, high-retention videos for social media, performance ads, and brand storytelling.

If you understand Reels, Ads, Shorts, hooks, watch-time, and conversions, and can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and Meta platforms
  • Create high-retention, fast-paced edits with strong hooks in the first 2–3 seconds
  • Add subtitles, motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound effects, and background music
  • Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form formats for ads, reels, stories, and thumbnails
  • Optimize videos for performance marketing, paid ads, engagement, and conversions
  • Ensure brand consistency while staying updated with social media trends and editing styles
  • Collaborate with performance marketers, content strategists, and designers
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within tight deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience as a Video Editor for social media or digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, watch time, hooks, and attention span
  • Experience editing performance marketing creatives and ad videos
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut (Desktop)
  • Knowledge of kinetic typography, jump cuts, fast transitions, and motion-based storytelling
  • Ability to edit both organic content and paid ad creatives
  • Understanding of branding, storytelling, and conversion-focused video editing

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience working with D2C brands, agencies, or performance marketing teams
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations
  • Understanding of A/B testing creatives for ads
  • Familiarity with UGC-style videos and influencer content editing
