  • Students and fresh graduates
  • Stipend subject to interview

The role

This is a learning placement for students and recent graduates. As a Motion Graphics Intern at MMC, you animate text, logos and graphics in After Effects from approved designs, for D2C brands, B2B companies and educational institutes. A Senior Motion Graphic Designer reviews your work and teaches you timing, export and file habits. The internship runs for 3 to 6 months, full-time, so you have time to build a real reel. The stipend is subject to interview. If you already have motion experience, see the Motion Graphic Designer role. The internship is open on-site in Indore or remote within India. Remote interns may occasionally be asked to visit our Indore office.

  • Keep project files, assets and versions organised for the team
  • Make changes from review notes and learn why each change was asked for

You probably are

  • A final or pre-final year student, or a fresh graduate, from animation, design or self-taught
  • You work in After Effects; Premiere Pro or Illustrator is a plus
  • You notice timing, easing and rhythm in motion
  • Patient with detail, and happy to redo a move until it feels right
  • Able to take feedback and apply it quickly

A bonus if you have

  • Basic 3D in Blender or Cinema 4D
  • Sound design or music timing
  • Animated work made for a real brand or event

On-site at our office in Vijayanagar, Indore, or remote from anywhere in India. Both options are open for this role. Remote hires may occasionally be asked to visit the Indore office.

How hiring works

  1. Apply. Send your CV, your portfolio or showreel link if the role asks for one, where you want to work (on-site in Indore or remote within India), your current city, your years of relevant experience and your answers to four short questions. A recruiter reviews every application against the role's requirements.
  2. A structured interview. 30 to 45 minutes with the hiring manager. Every candidate for a role gets the same core questions, built from what the role needs.
  3. A practical task. Early-career roles: a live task of 60 to 90 minutes, at the office or on a video call. Mid and senior roles: a task of a few hours on a realistic brief, with no live client data.
  4. A final conversation. With the department head and a founder. We agree on-site or remote work, your joining date and terms here, and take references before any offer.
