The role
This is a learning placement for students and recent graduates. As an SEO Intern at MMC, you research keywords, draft page updates and help run site checks for D2C brands, B2B companies and educational institutes. A Senior SEO Executive checks your work and shows you how Google and AI search find and rank pages. The internship runs for 3 months, extendable to 6, full-time, with part-time possible by agreement. The stipend is subject to interview. If you already have SEO experience, see the Junior SEO Executive role. The internship is open on-site in Indore or remote within India. Remote interns may occasionally be asked to visit our Indore office.

What you will own
- Research keywords in Semrush or Ahrefs and map them to client pages, with a senior checking your work
- Draft title tags, meta descriptions and internal links for page updates
- Check Google Search Console for indexing issues and log what you find
- Run site crawls in Screaming Frog and help turn the output into a fix list
- Help prepare monthly ranking and traffic reports from Search Console and GA4
- Note how client pages appear in AI answers, such as Google AI Overviews
You probably are
- A final or pre-final year student, or a fresh graduate, in any degree
- Curious about how Google decides what to show, and able to explain it simply
- Comfortable with Google Sheets: filters, sorting and simple formulas
- Careful with detail; you check your work before you hand it in
- Clear in written English
A bonus if you have
- A blog or website you have worked on
- Basic HTML
- Google Analytics or Search Console certification

Where you would work
On-site at our office in Vijayanagar, Indore, or remote from anywhere in India. Both options are open for this role. Remote hires may occasionally be asked to visit the Indore office.

- 02A structured interview. 30 to 45 minutes with the hiring manager. Every candidate for a role gets the same core questions, built from what the role needs.
- 03A practical task. Early-career roles: a live task of 60 to 90 minutes, at the office or on a video call. Mid and senior roles: a task of a few hours on a realistic brief, with no live client data.
- 04A final conversation. With the department head and a founder. We agree on-site or remote work, your joining date and terms here, and take references before any offer.
